Let’s say an rtNOW Sleep Advocate marks a patient as “adherence met”. The way this currently happens is by setting a custom status for the patient (task) as “adherence met”. Simple enough.
But what if you want to run a report that shows all patients marked as “adherence met” last month? The Sleep Advocate changed the patient status, but to our knowledge, the date a status was changed is not reportable.
For this reason we frequently create custom “date” fields whose sole purpose it to mark the date that another custom field or status was changed. For example, we have a “Date Adherence Marked as MET or NOT MET” field. This field is hidden from the Sleep Advocate, but we use automations to automatically fill it in when the status changes to “Adherence Met” (we will discuss automations soon). Neat, huh?
Once we have this date, we can then filter future reports by time periods.
